Isaiah is seven

Isaiah enjoyed celebrating his birthday for several weeks. It landed in the middle of Spring Break. We went to the valley Friday after school. It took hours on an alternate route because the Beeline hwy just outside of Payson closed. We went on a very scenic drive (route 88)from Lake Roosevelt to Apache Junction following a semi with about 50 other cars on one lane bridges, etc. At times we were just stopped. Too bad it was dark and we couldn't see the scenic. I plan on that route again sometime in daylight. Any way we did not arrive in time to see the Easter pagaent. Jim had been in the valley all week for job related training. My friend Carol had an Easter egg hunt with flashlights when we arrived. She let us pick the last of her lemon and orange crop on Saturday and Isaiah did get his birthday wish at Chuck E. Cheese. We stayed late for the Easter Pagaent at the Mesa Temple. The worn out children slept through much of it. I thought it very well done and an impressive thing. We had to take Salt River canyon back home. It was nice having night owl James drive with his learner's permit. He did very well and I got to rest.

Isaiah then had a regular birthday party with friends on his birthday.
