We've always had a real tree for Christmas. Many of those were obtained by getting a permit and going out in the forest to cut one ourselves. I only wish I had kept a ring from each of those trees and dated them. That would have been a fun tradition. This year was just a little different in that our hometeacher gave Jim a chain saw. That tree went down in no time.
